Be part of our client’s global operation and support international business units, working closely with finance and non-finance teams. Responsbilities will involve :-

• Preparation and analysis of schedules used in reported financial statements for statutory, managerial or SEC requirements to ensure the integrity and accuracy of reported balances
• Participating in closing various ERP general ledger modules including sub-ledger management and performing consolidation and re-valuation routines
• Provide support for the financial analysis of balance sheet accounts, ensuring compliance and integrity of account balances/financial report and effectiveness of business processes
• Preparation of global balance sheet account reconciliations ensuring completion within corporate guidelines
• Co-ordination and communication with business stakeholders in the R2R, FP&A and Business Controllership organisations on closing activities and financial reporting routines
• Develop and maintain SOX compliant standard operating procedures (SOPs) for operational and transactional processes impacting the financial statements, including closing, reporting and analysis.

Qualifications / Requirements:

• Written and verbal fluency in English with one other European language (with particular interest in German, Swedish, French, Spanish, Italian and Dutch, but other European languages Considered)
• 2-4 years experience in accounting or controlling multi-national environment
• Comfortable delivering against quantitative and qualitative performance metrics
• Ability to learn processes quickly and accurately adhere to them
• Flexible approach with a strong team spirit
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and highly professional style when dealing with business clients
• Proficient IT skills Including Excel and Outlook
